இடை ஆட்டம் என்பது மேற்கு ஆசியா, குறிப்பாக அரபிய மரபுவழி அல்லது நாட்டார் ஆட்டம் ஆகும். இந்த ஆட்டத்தின் ஒரு முக்கிய அம்சம் இடையை பல்வேறு வடிவில் அசைப்பதாகும்.அரபு மொழியில் ராக்ஸ் ஷர்கி என்றும் அழைக்கபடுகிறது.அரபு மொழியில் இதற்கு கிழக்கின் நடனம் என்று பொருள். இடை ஆட்டத்தை பேச்சு வழக்கில் பெல்லி நடனம்‎ என்று அழைக்கின்றனர்.இடை ஆட்டத்தின் போது தொப்புளும் வெளிகாட்டப்பட்டு அதுவும் உருவம் மாறுவதாக தோன்றுவதால் தமிழ்நாட்டில் பேச்சு வழக்கில் இடை ஆட்டத்தை தொப்புள் நடனம் என்றும் அழைக்கின்றனர்.
